Olive Picking

Most years I organise an olive harvest.  This involves picking about 200kg of olives, taking them to the mill to be pressed and bringing home the large steel churn filled with the green gold liquid.  The high quality oil you buy from the shops has nothing like the aroma and taste of freshly milled oil.  Although I have been harvesting the olives for quite a few years now I still enjoy the experience and so have family and friends who have joined me.  My oldest helper was a week off her 80th birthday and the youngest was my son when he was 13 yrs old.  If there has been a harvest the oil is then available for guests to use.  If you would be interested in participating then please get in touch with me via the email address on the enquiry page.  As it would be a working holiday and harvesting the olives would be the priority, the holiday is not suitable for children.
